First off, hope everyone who celebrates 4th of July had a good time partying or watching fireworks etc, and I hope those of you who don't celebrate it had a good day as well.

This was the second year that my grandpa's started having parties again, so we celebrated by having a relatively small get together at his house. It was mostly people from his church and old folks debate club, but it was fun.
Summer schools still very easy, although my math teacher is fresh off the boat and so very meek and often actually asks us if she's doing things right.. *face palm* Besides her being annoying I'm ticked off at this "new math" stuff all it is are convoluted ways to essentially CHEAT at math without actually UNDERSTANDING it! I feel so sorry for the children that have never been exposed to math and will have these methods as their first introduction.

The only reason I'm not confused is because I have been exposed to it before. Also I REALLY dislike that 23 or perhaps it's 24, no one ever found out, lab hours are required for the class!
Since when is studying/doing homework in a noisy, crowded facility, sitting in uncomfortable plastic chairs productive!? I can understand if people really don't have a place at home, but why make it mandatory for those of us who do? The tutors there don't even take it seriously, their usually the loudest and today a group of them were huddled in their semi-private room babbling to each other.
At least I'm beginning to see that I do have a math mind, my problem all along was not that math was an imperfect and illogical system. It's the fact that human error on the part of those making the questions degrades the integrity of said mathematical system. (teacher apparently thinks "cookies" are a unit of measurement)
Okay, now that I've complained I'll end things on a happier note. This Saturday will be my first day of my creature sculpture class!

I'm really excited, and can't wait to see how much better my sculpture gets will some real help and guidance. This Thursday I will also be taking the written portion of my driving exam and hopefully I will do well and be able to get my learners permit

so yeah, might be able to drive soon. I'm more excited about my art class but driving will still be convenient.
P.S. The new footage of HG/SS looks awesome, and I'm especially excited about having my Tyranitar follow me after seeing what they look like following along in the commercial.
